Making Magic Happen!

Making Magic Happen!

One of the most tedious jobs for a doctor is not only creating a diagnosis and precise treatment plan for patients but making them stick to it and follow as well. Throughout my career, I’ve come across innumerable patients who not only were exhausted by facing obstacles in life but were even dejected.
That’s exactly where I had to step in to make them feel ecstatic and give them rays of hope. By utilizing certain motivational techniques, I could achieve better growth and wellness for them that drove their health behavior.
More so, when it is about managing a chronic disease, it is quite essential for me and for them to stay more active in their journey of wellness. Since patients are the primary drivers of care management activities, health behavior changes, as well as medication adherence, there are some of them who are motivated from within; while there are some who lack the beginning.
When I Came Across Warriors:
“No matter how dark a night, it must be followed by dawn.
No matter how painful the fight, the disease must go so you can live on.”
Undoubtedly, there would be innumerable warriors, fighting with severe and extreme diseases in their lives. While some conquer these obstacles with a smile, others get stuck with their suffering. Such was the case with one of the warriors I met recently.
Fighting with a deadly disease, the person was on the edge of giving up. It was the moment when I stepped in with words of motivation and courage of a beast.
“Courage doesn’t mean you don’t get afraid.
Courage means you don’t let fear stop you.”
While it is true that the words alone couldn’t help them, I suggested to them a few remedies to overcome their fear. Along with that, there were some exercises to keep them healthy and well.
At the end of the day, it is all about how you are going to overcome the stumbling blocks and make yourself succeed in every way. And, guess what? I was super excited and glad when I saw that specific warrior not only smiling brightly but fighting with the guts. Isn’t it the best possible thing to experience? Of course, that is! Watching someone getting motivated and fighting has no replacement until now.
How does this benefit our community ?
At the end of the dawn, motivation is essential for everyone. The dearth of motivation may never let us go through the bad phases of life. Not just health goals, but with motivation, we can easily attain financial and personal goals seamlessly. Right now, being a doctor, I am actually glad that I could help several people come out of bad phases of life.
That’s actually how you are going to live happily. Furthermore, even you would be able to achieve peace of mind by staying motivated.
So, just like me, if you have dejected and miserable people around, it would be amazing to help them out, isn’t it? All you have to do is motivate them and push them to conquer the best in life.
Until then – stay motivated, keep motivating.
